ערה, שנפטרה ב2 ליוני ממחלת הסרטן בגיל 69, ערכה לאורך יותר מארבעה עשורים עשרות סרטים תיעודיים ועלילתיים, זכתה בפרסי אופיר על עריכה ובפרס מיוחד על הישגים מקצועיים. היא עבדה עם היוצרים והיוצרות הבולטים בישראל, She held a series of prestigious positions and received many awards.
